Since that first exposure was made over 170 years ago, photography has captured the minds and the images of generations of people around the world. The current exhibit at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Museum, "A Moment in Time: The Art of Photography," traces the technology of photography from the first daguerreotype to today's digital.
There will also be a special feature exhibit featuring Abraham Lincoln's original patent drawing and patent model. The Lincoln and photographic exhibits will run through July.
